Slightly warmer conditions are expected to return to the Killeen-Fort Cavazos area Monday as winds become southerly once again, with rain chances possible for next weekend.
There is a possibility of severe weather Thursday in the Killeen-Fort Cavazos area which could include large hail and damaging winds, according to the National Weather Service office in Fort Worth.
The National Weather Service — Fort Worth caution drivers and others to be aware of strong south winds expected in the Killeen-Fort Cavazos area for the first part of the week.
Following the eclipse on Monday, the Central Texas area was met with a lot of rainfall — for some areas flooding, but this upcoming week is looking to be hot, sunny, with shade from the clouds for the majority of the week, according to the National Weather Service.
Hold on to those umbrella’s because more rain has hit Killeen. After an afternoon of mostly sunny skies, the National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued another severe storm warning and flash flood warning for Bell County, including Killeen.
