Walk MS: Johnny Walker and Team Walksalot

So here's my story: I was diagnosed with Relapsing Remitting Multiple Sclerosis in December of 2017.

After two years, 3 different medications, 1 Super Bowl Championship, a new doctor, a new apartment, a new job, hundreds of miles traveled, $20,000 fundraised, some challenging times, some amazing times, and some normal times, I'm still chugging along.

Being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis has been an interesting addition to my life. However, as my new friend Roslyn, an MS Warrior for 30 years, told me "I have MS, but MS doesn't have ME." This second year has been a progression towards acceptance and understanding that the show goes on! ...

My 25th birthday is on the 25th of April, one week before this years Walk. So I've decided to set the ambitious goal of raising $25,000. Over the past (almost) 25 years, my friends and family are the reason why I am who I am and why I made it through these past two years. So the $25k goal is not a reflection of myself, but a reflection of you all.

It's ambitious, but have I ever been someone to back away from a ridiculous challenge? No. So let's raise some money and I look forward to celebrating my birthday, celebrating life, and celebrating the progress that's been made towards a world free of MS.

See you on May 2nd!
