Facebook University

Facebook University is a hands-on, immersive internship program that enables students from underrepresented communities to get to know Facebook’s people, products and services. In just eight weeks, the program gives interns across roles in engineering, analytics, product design, operations, and sales and advertising the opportunity to make a real impact and help redefine how the world connects.

FBU for Engineering

Engineering interns receive three weeks of mobile development training in iOS or Android, then five weeks of hands-on experience in a small team setting — plus guidance from a mentor all along the way.
The application for FBU for Engineers Class of 2020 is open September 15 through October 31, 2019.

FBU for Analytics

Analytics interns learn about roles in data engineering and data science followed by hands-on experience guided by a mentor, working on data-intensive analysis for a product or business at Facebook.
The application window for FBU for Analytics Class of 2020 is open October 1 through November 15, 2019.

FBU for Operations

Operations interns work in non-engineering roles across the company to ensure that our technology is safe and enjoyable for all Facebook users, from individuals to advertisers to developers.
The application window for FBU for Operations Class of 2020 is open November 1 through November 30, 2019.

FBU for Product Design

Product Design interns spend a week in training followed by seven weeks of hands-on experience, guided by a mentor, working on interaction design and visual design for a Facebook product.
The application window for FBU for Product Design Class of 2020 is open December 1, 2019 through January 17, 2020.

FBU for Sales and Advertising

Formerly FBU for GMS. FBU for Sales and Advertising interns will learn core sales skills, including how to prepare and pitch to clients, communication, logical reasoning, storytelling with data and client service and media planning skills.
The application window for FBU for Sales and Advertising is open December 6, 2019 through January 22, 2020.
