Get your child set up
Set up Family Sharing
To use Family Sharing, each person needs their own Apple ID. As the family organizer, you can create Apple IDs for your children, and add existing Apple IDs for other family members.
Update your child’s Apple ID birth date
If your child is 13 and over
Users over 13 can update their own birth dates in the Settings app. Learn how to update the birth date associated with your Apple ID.
If your child is under 13*
You will need to contact Apple Support to update your child’s birth date.
