For my 51st birthday, I would LOVE to raise $5100 for Levanta Ministries. I am on the Board of Directors and have been since the beginning because I fully believe in Margaret (we share a bday) and Doug and the ministry they have created there to bring the light of Christ to a country of beautiful humans. I know it's a BIG goal but we have a BIG God and every little bit will help me reach my goal. I've included information about Levanta Ministries below. Alli and I went last January and it was a life changing experience. We left a bit of our heart there.
The mission of Levanta Ministries is to ENCOURAGE relationships in which to share the love of Christ, EQUIP others with lasting solutions for their physical, spiritual and educational needs in order to EMPOWER families in the Dominican Republic to rise above their current situation.
