Toolstation App 4+

The new app is a lot better than the old app and so far is a lot easier to use. If the developers are reading this, can I recommend that you introduce under branch selector the option to select 1 or 2 secondary branches if the product isn’t available at your selected/primary branch. This is sort available through a browser if you haven’t logged in but as soon as login and select a branch, have to go through and reset you to different locations to find if it’s available.
Having used this for a while I would also like to recommend a change of colour to the button if next day is available on product. At the the moment it’s the same colour as available in branch to collect. Recently when ordering multiple items I have been caught out when going to to collect and finding out 1 item is next day and not realising this but this is usually the item I want that day.

I can only speak really about the Cannock branch which I often use. (Any store is only as good as the staff who work there).
They are very helpful, efficient, patient and know their product. They have a free vend drinks machine adjacent to special offers (good for sales as you browse while you sip)!
If this store is typical of all Toolstation stores you deserve five plus stars!

Oh, one small gripe….can you stop putting the odd thick page in your catalogues please. It makes it awkward when I try flicking through! 😊👍

I use this app all the time to find things we need on site and find it highly frustrating that they have lots of local branches we can use but when an item is out of stock at one branch there is no option on the app to check stock availability at other branches. To find which branch has stock you have to manually go into the settings, change your favourite branch then view the product again to see that branch has it available and then repeat the process for each branch until you find one!

We are on site to earn a living and having to waste sometimes 20-30 minutes on an app simply to find which branch has stock of what we need is very annoying, especially when most of our other suppliers we can simply click to check stock at other branches within in a couple of seconds.
