Great long awaited app!

I’ve waited a long time for the Screwfix app and I’ve been pleasantly surprised. Opening the app logs me in instantly and remembers my chosen store which are both time savers as a regular customer of Screwfix. Searching for products is easy and the product pages show the remaining stock in your chosen store. The ‘My Orders’ tab allows you to quickly view your past purchases and includes a small image of the product(s) which is great for reordering when you forget what you ordered in the past (like I do)! Checkout is easy and an SMS message is sent soon after informing you that your order is ready for collection, providing your items are in stock.

I do miss the Q&A section, which is very helpful when choosing a product, and hopefully the app will integrate this feature in the near future.

Overall, I’m very happy with the new app and look forward to further updates. Thanks.

Frustrating when it doesn’t accept or confirm order

Spent 2 hours compiling large order but when it came to checkout and confirm payment it just hung there, don’t know if order placed or not but no sms received so assume it is not. Screwfix you have lost a customer. Further to this I have found that they only had 2 items where I wanted 3 but because of this the order was stalled until I went back to change the quantity from 3 to 2, this is frustrating especially as this problem was not highlighted until I scrolled back up the screen. Maybe the app suitable for small orders but not for multi item orders

Problem with order

I have purchased a shower pump and a shower head today and the money has gone out of my account to Screwfix Screwfix have said they have received the payment the store has the product in stock after purchasing The products off the app I have turned up at the store to come and collect and I have been told that they cannot give me the product because there is a glitch on their system I’ve also called customer service and they told me that they can’t do anything I have a customer waiting for these parts to be installed I just find it appalling that I have paid for product my money has been taken and I’m not being given the product that I have paid for I’m actually being told that I need to purchase them again and I don’t have the funds to make this purchase before that puts me in a situation where I cannotGo out and carry out the work for the customer that had been promised that the work would be carried out today it just makes me look unprofessional and in my opinion this is completely unacceptable
